Certified for a high quality service
Certificates are always great, I remember at school the excitement of having something to show for all my hard work. Well a few years on, I can tell you the excitement of receiving an official certificate doesn’t wear off. The only difference is, rather than an academic achievement, this certificate was to demonstrate our focus on quality, as RockIT’s Quality Management System was formally certified by SGS UK as compliant with the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
This is such a great achievement for us as it really cements the fact that we place a significant focus on achieving and maintaining a high standard of service delivery, through ongoing quality monitoring and internal auditing. We’ve been outlining our approach towards quality for some time now, as laid out in our core value ‘Quality – Zero defects in everything we do’, we take our commitment to quality seriously. This certification covers a comprehensive range of quality related disciplines, and it’s not just what we say we do, we’ve had to provide hard documented evidence to demonstrate how we deliver high quality throughout our day to day operations.
The ISO 9001:2015 certification covers a diverse range of quality criteria, reaching into all corners of the business, and delving into everything from quality management principles, quality objective planning and how we maintain the quality of service that is delivered.
It hasn’t been an easy achievement, however, as we were already doing many of the right things, such as setting quality KPIs and promoting employee personal development, it didn’t take us long to be able to showcase to our auditors all the focus that we place on delivering a high quality service to our clients.
