A day in the life of Service

We are currently on the lookout for First Response Team (FRT) Engineers, and so as we actively seek out more technical bods to join the department, we thought it would be a good opportunity to showcase what it’s like to work for our Service Desk.

It’s fair to say, no two days are the same. Dealing with clients day-to-day IT requests could see you working on everything from the quick fixes to the cyber-attacks of recent months. You’ll get to provide IT support covering a broad spectrum of equipment and systems, and your continued learning will be well catered for with our, soon to launch, internal, RockIT Academy; a bespoke self-learning tool which will guide through various learning paths to help you improve your existing knowledge and develop your skills to further enhance your career progression. Typical career progression for our FRT engineers is within 12 months and would normally be to the Advanced Support Team as a 2nd or 3rd line engineer.
