Oct 11, 2017RockIT news,
Times are changing for our London crew. Since 2014, when we first opened our doors in London, we have been investing more of our focus to make this office something special. Our London team members are a passionate bunch and work so hard to build up the RockIT reputation, in what is probably one of the most competitive cities in the world.
Because of all this hard work and the unwaveringly positive attitudes of the London team, we have been able to focus even more of our time in securing them some new team members – and doubling the headcount. For our clients in the London area, this will mean quicker resolution times to technical requests, shorter lead times for project based work and more opportunities for us to focus on technical audits.
Some of our recent appointments have been in both the Service Department, Projects Department and more technical resource in the Sales Department, recruiting key individuals who are the very best people in the industry and have the essential skills needed to support this rapidly growing office. As part of their induction process we welcomed them with a two week stint at our head office location which naturally, in true RockIT style, included a few social gatherings – bowling, meals out, poker nights and mini golf galore! It was great to be able to socialise away from the office and get to know our London counterparts on a personal level, and it also meant that they didn’t have to spend the evenings on their own. Already the feedback we’ve had from this has been amazing, and each new London team member has said they’ve never felt more integrated and part of the team, as they do now, after only a couple of weeks with us. Never underestimate the power of crazy golf.
But, the other good news story to come out of London, is that the growth doesn’t stop there, with double trouble comes the need to expand the office, and so last week it was announced that our Londoners are going to get a lovely shiny new office, with plenty of space and more room for even more growth to come. Bring it on.
